These Terms & Conditions govern enrollment in and use of services provided by Start Safe Academy LLC. By enrolling in a course, purchasing a service, scheduling behind-the-wheel instruction, or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Enrollment & Eligibility
Students are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during enrollment. Students must meet any applicable eligibility requirements for the course or driving service selected.

​

Driver Education Program
The Mississippi Driver Education Program includes 24 hours of online classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction provided in three separate 2-hour driving sessions. Students must successfully complete all required components of the program to receive a certificate of completion.

​

Online Coursework
Online coursework is delivered through Google Classroom. Students are responsible for completing required lessons, quizzes, and other course requirements. Course access is intended only for the enrolled student and may not be shared with another person.

​

Behind-the-Wheel Instruction
Students must meet applicable permit and eligibility requirements before participating in behind-the-wheel instruction. Driving sessions are scheduled separately and are subject to instructor availability.

Scheduling
Students are responsible for scheduling their driving sessions within the applicable enrollment period. Appointment availability may vary.

Student Conduct & Safety
Students must follow instructor directions and behave safely during behind-the-wheel instruction. Start Safe Academy reserves the right to stop or reschedule a driving session when continuing the session would present a safety concern.

Payments
Payment is required according to the terms displayed at the time of purchase. Prices and available services may change; however, changes will not alter the price of a service already purchased unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, missed appointments, and refunds are governed by Start Safe Academy's Cancellation & Refund Policy.

​

Certificates of Completion
Certificates are issued only after the student has successfully completed all requirements applicable to the enrolled program. A certificate of completion does not itself guarantee issuance of a learner's permit or driver's license by the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

Website & Course Materials
Start Safe Academy course materials, graphics, videos, written content, and other original materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or shared without permission.

​

Limitation of Services
Start Safe Academy provides driver education and instruction but cannot guarantee that a student will pass a state examination, qualify for a license, or receive a particular licensing outcome.

​

Changes to These Terms
Start Safe Academy may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
